The cottages
We have 5 cottages built on bamboo and mud. Spacious, comfortable and clean. The total area of Esalen Estate is 11 acers and river Kaveri flows through the boarder of the property. There is a large round shaped community space, again built using bamboo. There is electricity, high speed internet and home cooked food.
How to reach
The nearest airport is Kannur in Kerala which is 92 KM away. You can also fly to Mangalore or Bangalore and reach Coorg by road. We are two and half kilometers away from the road that goes to Bhagamandala – Talakaveri, the origin of Kaveri river. Esalen Estate is in between Virajpet and Madikeri in a village called Ballamavatti.
